On June 20, 2024, UnitedHealth Group issued a press release offering an update on the Change Healthcare cybersecurity incident that occurred on Feb. 21, 2024. While the investigation to determine whose data is impacted is not yet complete, UnitedHealth Group has started the process to notify impacted customers and shared a website that provides additional information. UnitedHealth Group continues to offer credit monitoring and identity protection services, as well as a dedicated contact center to address questions. COMMUNITY HEALTHCHOICES (LONG-TERM SERVICES & SUPPORTS)

Community HealthChoices is a new program to coordinate physical healthcare and long-term services and supports (LTSS) for older persons, persons with disabilities, and Pennsylvanians who are dually eligible for Medicare and Medicaid (dual eligible). Pending regulatory approval, PA Health & Wellness will begin serving participants in the Southwest Zone as of January 1, 2018, the Southeast Zone July 1, 2018, and Lehigh-Capital Zone January 1, 2019.

 

Medicare

People age 65 and older, under 65 with certain disabilities, and any age with End-State Renal Disease – ESRD (permanent kidney failure requiring dialysis or a kidney transplant) may be eligible for coverage through Allwell from PA Health & Wellness.
