On June 20, 2024, UnitedHealth Group issued a press release offering an update on the Change Healthcare cybersecurity incident that occurred on Feb. 21, 2024. While the investigation to determine whose data is impacted is not yet complete, UnitedHealth Group has started the process to notify impacted customers and shared a website that provides additional information. UnitedHealth Group continues to offer credit monitoring and identity protection services, as well as a dedicated contact center to address questions. Reporting Communicable Diseases

Reporting Communicable Diseases to PA Health & Wellness:  

  • PA Health & Wellness must work with DOH State and District Office epidemiologists in partnership with the designated county or municipal health department staffs to appropriately report reportable conditions in accordance  with  28  Pa. Code §§ 27.1 et seq.
  • It is your responsibility as a provider to participate in reporting of communicable diseases and reportable conditions. PA Health & Wellness has designated a single point of contact for reportable conditions, who can be reached by contact the PHW Critical Incident (CI) Team at 1-844-626-6813.
